Recoblog #2, London Calling (Sings The Clash silently in head)

I can officially confirm that the much-anticipated Recofloor Grand Tour is well and truly underway. I have the sleep deprivation to prove it!

 Monday involved me getting up early and travelling from Stockport to London Euston to start my two day trip to visit distributors in London and the South East. My first stop was Kent Flooring. The guys there were really lovely people and we had a good meeting about Recofloor and how it could help them. Next stop was STS Orpington where we had a really good, productive discussion about how to introduce Recofloor into one of their new branches.

 On Tuesday, I made my way to SW Flooring. We discussed a range of topics including how we could help them increase collections. One down one to go! It took me almost 3 hours to get from SW Flooring to my next appointment at Volante in Kingston where I had a tour of their vast warehouse in a very productive meeting.

 After ticking all the visits for the day off my list, I popped in to my gran’s house just two miles away, maintaining my position as favourite grandson!

 The most notable event of the trip was the journey in the lift from the lobby to the 6^th floor. I squeezed in the lift with Olympic Gold medal-winning women’s hockey power couple Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh, fresh from helping their team HC Bloemendaal maintain their place in the Hoofdklasse. I congratulated them on their medals and then we carried on in silence.
