Your entry should be between 200-400 words, and if possible include two neat photos of your work with Recofloor. Try to cover as many of the entry points below as you can and remember, the more details you can give the better your chances are of winning! Photos taken by a smart phone are usually fine.
Points to consider:
- Briefly tell us about your business (e.g., years of trading, involvement within the commercial vinyl sector, projects, expansions or how you have overcome difficulties in the past).
- How many vinyl fitters or sub-contractors did you have roughly in 2025?
- Tell us how you normally use Recofloor including what changes or how have you adapted to enable Recofloor to still be utilised during 2025? (E.g., new storage methods, safety guidelines, staff training, persuasion around recycling).
- How do you promote Recofloor within the company or to clients? You can include details about any marketing activity you have done in relation to the scheme.
- If applicable, please give an example of when using Recofloor helped you to win more business in 2025.
- How do you ensure best practice and minimise contamination?
- From a wider viewpoint, how are you working towards becoming a more sustainable business, what measures and business practices have been put in place to cover this issue?
- How do you see your involvement and relationship within the scheme and what changes would you like to see in the future?
- Critically, why do you think you should win an award?
- Any other comments, details you would like to include.
Entries for this category will be shortlisted and judged based on the level of detail given on the entry and assessed on company size and there may be more than one winner.
As part of your entry, you have the chance to enter and nominate:
- A Project of the Year or site on which you have worked and that you feel is a strong example of how the scheme works on these kinds of sites.
- A Recofloor Champion – someone within your company who goes the extra mile to ensure the scheme is utilised at its best at your company.
