Recofloor’s latest case study looks at how Westcotes Flooring Company deployed the scheme at Circle Health Hospital in Edgbaston.
Westcotes Flooring Company had only been part of Recofloor for a few weeks before successfully using the scheme to collect three tonnes of vinyl flooring waste from the 10,000m2 of vinyl flooring laid.
Carl Harper, Westcotes’ Managing Director explains: “Recofloor fits perfectly with the recycling systems for other materials, such as timber, cardboard and plasterboard, that are already in place on most construction sites.”
Joe Gardner, Recofloor Project Officer adds: “Whether it’s for large projects like this, or the smallest of jobs, Recofloor can help contractors save money on disposal costs and protect the environment by collecting and recycling waste vinyl flooring.”
