Reuse Material Specification

Material requirements

To be accepted for reuse, material must be:

Clean and uncontaminated
Free from adhesive residue
Stain-free
In usable condition

Accepted materials

Accepted materials include:

Vinyl Flooring
Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT)
Carpet
Laminate
Cushion flooring
Wood flooring

Quantity and packaging guidelines

Minimum of 2 square metres per each product
Products must be supplied in their original packaging when possible
Minimum of one double pallet for rolls or one single pallet for LVT, laminate or wood products for per delivery
Maximum load determined by the reuse hub based on capacity
Must follow safety standards for packing the material. These to be products neatly stacked on a pallets and securely strapped to ensure safe handling. Follow Recofloor packing guidelines for palletised rolls.

Terms and conditions

You must be a Recofloor member. Please complete our online form to join
All materials must be approved before delivery
Materials are donated to the reuse hub.
Members are responsible for transport and delivery.
If material is rejected, the donor must arrange another disposal method. If appropriate, Recofloor may recommend recycling collection
Reuse hubs may sell or donate materials “as-is” limiting warranties to the reuse hub warranty sale terms and conditions
Where possible, branding should be removed before delivery.
