The Recofloor team is delighted that the scheme has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2012 Business Commitment to the Environment (BCE) Environmental Leadership Awards.
All finalists have undergone an on-site inspection in addition to meeting stringent judging criteria to make it onto the shortlist.
Scheme Manager, Jane Gardner commented that: "The producer responsibility taken by Recofloor’s founders, Altro and Polyflor saw 447 tonnes of vinyl diverted from landfill in 2011 alone. Being shortlisted for the BCE Awards validates Recofloor’s pioneering engagement of the supply chain and the commitment of our collectors."
The winners of the awards, sponsored by WRAP, will be announced at a ceremony at the Lincoln Centre, London, on 20th June.
